After scrolling through my twitter feed and reading all these entertaining stories, Parker Dickson's twitter story is the one that stood out the most to me. I really like how he put a time stamp before each tweet so it was easier to follow along and visualize how much time was passing between each encounter. It also helped to show how quickly the ordeal started and escalated. He also uses very good descriptions to help set the scene as just a typical day such as discussing the weather and saying "The bank buzzed, business men scurried, parents were cashing checks, deposits being made." His description of the bank teller after realizing what was occurring instantly made the reader know that the story was taking a dark turn. I like that each tweet is short and to the point because it really builds the suspense as you have to go to each new tweet to find out what happened next. He does a good job to describe the chaos and emotion that is happening as he tells what the bearded man is doing. As the story goes on it gets more and more intense as the police decide what to do and he shows the desperation in his tweets. The last tweet in the story really ends the piece on a strong and emotional note. He does well to increase the intensity with each tweet which really keeps the reader intrigued. The seriousness of the situation is really exposed in the very last tweet and it leaves the reader feeling sad. With only 10 short tweets, he does a very good job in creating an emotional and intense story filled with drama.
